As a “thank you” to the people who visit this site, I created this category called “Best of Visitors“. When you visit 365 To Freedom, I’ll poke around your site and write posts (like this one) that highlight your posts that I enjoyed.
I’d also like to give a shout-out to two websites that have recently included 365 To Freedom in their list of sites they read daily. Including me in lists with John Chow and Dosh Dosh…you guys are going to give me a big head!
Check out these two lists, there are some great blogs there if you aren’t already reading them…
If you want me to poke around your site and possibly feature you in the next “Best of Visitors” post, make sure to leave comments on this site, drop your Entrecard, or advertise here. That’s how I know that you’ve visited.

- Blarguments (dropped Entrecard) introduced me to a new service for checking available domain names in this post. I usually use Instant Domain Search and Bust A Name, and now I’ve got a third option.
- Wake Up Later (dropped Entrecard) puts together a great list of 40 Feeds to Read. I usually don’t like random lists like this, but this is a great one.
- Day Job Nuker (dropped Entrecard) wrote a great post titled Are All New Bloggers Dumb? that should be a must-read for new bloggers. It’s kind of funny, and points out some of the biggest mistakes they make. My favorite one is when people show their Feedburner stats when their subscribers are in the single digits! It’s like a sign that says, “In case you didn’t know, no one cares what I say.”

- Bootstrapping Blog (left a comment) - I love this article about getting paid to do what you love. That’s why I’m creating sites like The Coolest Gifts - because I truly enjoy working on it. While it may be more profitable to go the John Chow route, I’m not as passionate as he is about the stuff he writes about. I would be doomed to failure if I tried to make a living from a “make money online” blog like so many other people are trying to do.
- Blarguments (dropped Entrecard) - Great post on How To Hack An Elevator. I haven’t heard of that before either. I’m going to use it on Awesomeology (of course, crediting you as the source), so that means you got two links from dropping your Entrecard at 365 To Freedom
- Blogging4Everyone (dropped Entrecard) - Got a bunch of visitors from StumbleUpon, and is running into the same problem I am. The only thing I would say is that, while sites like StumbleUpon may not give you the same income per visitor as, say, someone who finds you through an organic Google search, they will increase your readership. Sure, you’ll get thousands of people who hit your site and leave two seconds later, but you’re bound to get some who stick, and over time they’ll make it worthwhile.
