Last week, I decided to bookmark 300 websites that load quickly and feature their Entrecard above the fold.

I split those bookmarks up into 10 different folders with 30 bookmarks in each. All I had to do then was go into a folder, click “Open All In Tabs”, wait a minute for the 30 pages to load, drop my Entrecard on each, then repeat the process with the other 9 folders.

Now that I have that all set up, it takes me less than 20 minutes to drop 300 Entrecards.

It’s very simple, and it’s an easy way to get 9,000 extra credits per month in a minimal amount of time.

The hard part is finding websites that both load quickly AND have their Entrecard in plain view. If it takes you 5 seconds to scroll down and find each Entrecard, that’s 25 extra minutes you’ll waste!

You can do the same thing on your own, but it will take a LOT of time. I spent over 8 hours and dropped over 2,000 Entrecards before I finally found 300 that met my criteria!

I Figured That A Lot Of People Might Be Interested In This List…

…so I made a website to share them with everybody!

The new website is PowerDropping.com, and it lists the 300 fastest-loading sites in the Entrecard network who position their Entrecard completely above the fold.

Why Should You Get As Many Entrecards As Possible?

I really think that the Entrecard system that Graham created is nothing short of genius, and that within the year Entrecard credits will become the defacto currency of the blogosphere.

You can already purchase goods and services with your credits in the Entrecard shops. These are things that real people pay real money for, like Adii’s Premium News Theme (available for either $99.95 cash or 6,500 Entrecards). Not only that, but people are starting to trade Entrecard credits straight up for cash! 10,000 credits recently sold on eBay for $61.

You could quickly and easily make an extra $50 per month in just 20 minutes per day thanks to PowerDropping.com! If you have multiple blogs in the Entrecard network, you could make hundreds of dollars.

And let’s not forget the intangible value of being able to build a brand for yourself. The more credits you have, the more you will be able to advertise across the blogosphere. Even if you aren’t getting a ton of clicks, you’re building brand awareness, and that’s invaluable.

Quick Tip For Entrecard Advertisers

Even if you’re more interested in advertising on Entrecard than you are in “power-dropping”, you’ll still want to visit PowerDropping.com on a regular basis. Why? Because all of the sites listed there feature their Entrecards in a prime above-the-fold location, and are therefore ideal blogs to advertise on!

300 Is Kind Of A Strange Number…Why Do You Have 300 Sites In Your List?

If you’ve never hit the “Entrecard Wall” then you’re probably not aware that there’s a limit as to how many Entrecards the system will let you drop in any given day. Once you reach 300, you’re done until tomorrow. So 300 seemed like the perfect number.

For You Big Time Power Droppers, Here’s Another Tip

Use Firefox, and install the “Permanent Tab” Firefox add-on.

Once that’s installed, you simply right-click on the tab that has PowerDropping.com open and select it as a “Permanent Tab”. Then whenever you click on a link on that page, it will open in a new tab without leaving the page you’re on.

With that plugin, you can use the list at PowerDropping.com to open each site in a new tab as fast as you can click on them.

Why Should You use PowerDropping.com Daily Instead Of Just Bookmarking The Sites?

The list at PowerDropping.com will be constantly updated with new and faster sites.

As of today there are almost 4,000 sites in the Entrecard network, and I’ve only gone through about half of them to make up my list. As word about PowerDropping.com spreads, more and more people will be contacting me to say that their site should be on the list, and it will only continue to improve. Not to mention that there will be sites joining and leaving the Entrecard network every day, and others will rearrange the location of their Entrecards.

For all those reasons, the list at PowerDropping.com will be in a constant state of change, and will always be the best source to find websites to spend your time dropping your cards.

Would You Like 200 Free Entrecard Credits And A Link From PowerDropping.com?

If you write a post on your blog about PowerDropping.com, you’ll get a permanent link on the right sidebar.

And if you’re one of the first 10 people to write a post about PowerDropping.com, I’ll throw in 200 Entrecard credits as a thank you.

After you write a post about PowerDropping.com, please use this contact form to let me know. I’ll use the timestamp of the emails that I receive to determine who the first 10 were, and make sure to include a valid email address on the contact form, because that’s where I’ll be sending the 200 Entrecards.

You may have heard that Google gives more credibility to domain names that are registered for longer periods of time.

It’s true.

In Google’s United State Patent Application #20050071741, they stated:

Valuable (legitimate) domains are often paid for several years in advance, while doorway (illegitimate) domains rarely are used for more than a year. Therefore, the date when a domain expires in the future can be used as a factor in predicting the legitimacy of a domain and, thus, the documents associated therewith.

Their reasoning makes sense, don’t you think? A site owner who has only registered their domain name for one year wouldn’t seem to be as serious as someone who has their site registered for the next 5+ years. A longer registration shows a higher level of commitment to the website.

Extending Your Domain Name Registrations Can Be Expensive…

Extending your domain name registration for the next 5-10 years can get a bit expensive, especially if you have multiple domains.

Let’s assume that you have 5 domain names that you really like. Figuring an average price of $9 per year, it will cost you $225 to register each of them for 5 years. To register them for 10 years each will cost you $450.

That’s a lot of money to spend in one shot.

…But It Doesn’t Have To Be!

What if, instead, you extend the registration on one domain name by one year each week? That way, 6 months from now, each of your 5 domain names will be extended by an additional 5 years, and it will have only cost you $9 per week…much easier to swallow than paying $225 at one shot, especially if you’re on a budget.

Go Show Google That Your Site’s Legit

I just extended the registration for 365 To Freedom by a year, and if your website is only registered for the next year or two, I’d suggest you go ahead and do the same.

“Magazine Style” themes are the latest trend to hit the Wordpress world.

They’re called “magazine style” (sometimes “newspaper style”) because they organize your homepage and give it a similar look to an online newspaper or magazine.

The biggest upside to this style of theme is that they really do look fantastic. It turns your average, everyday, boring blog into something far more professional.

The biggest downside would probably be time…it usually takes longer to make a new post because they typically require an image to go along with it, and you usually have to make 2-3 different sizes of the same image (1 size to be displayed if it’s a “featured” article, 1 size for your most recent posts, and another size image that’s displayed for recent posts, in your archives, and when someone does a search).

Another thing to keep in mind is that most magazine style themes are “premium themes” which means you have to pay for them. Some will see this as a downside, I prefer to think of it as an upside, since it means that everybody and their brother won’t be using the same theme you are.

Without further ado, here’s the list…
